Cleankill's Paul Bates appears on BBC Radio Surrey
Paul Bates from Cleankill appeared on Danny Pike's BBC Radio Surrey / Sussex show on Thursday 22 April 2010 to answer questions about recent news stories concerning parakeets and electric ants! Paul provided a detailed explanation about parakeet infestations and the risks to householders. With reference to one particular infestation, Paul said: " We were absolutely staggered at the amount of damage caused by just one parakeet. There is no doubt that, if the bird had been allowed to continue, the structure of the roof would have been affected." Danny Pike's listeners were encouraged to contact the show and ask Paul for advice about their own pest problems. The topics included carpet beetles and wasps. Paul dealt with each enquiry professionally and with good humour and provided a wealth of interesting facts and details. It was an entertaining program and Danny thanked Paul very much for taking the time to appear on the show.
